From Shepard Fairey’s “HOPE” poster for the Obama campaign, to Donald Trump’s red MAGA hat, art & graphic design are one of, if not the most, powerful fuel for social change. And yet, all too often movement groups see art as extracurricular, as less than core to the mission, and rarely invest the time & energy in structuring creativity into their work. This session will feature best practices, tips, and tricks, from the Co-founders of Creative Action Network, on how you can win with art.

About Instructor


Max has a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Jazz Studies from the University of Southern California. He believes deeply in the power of art to affect social change, and works with our non-profit and retail partners to expand the reach and impact of our artists’ work. He’s a proud alumnus of the Coro Fellows Program In Public Affairs, and is doing his best to be the change.
